How It Works
Four steps
- Drop off your itemsBring them to the Buda facility during business hours — no appointment needed.
- Receive your OA receiptIssued on the spot, on Outsiders Anonymous letterhead, signed by Pennyworth as fiscal agent.
- Pennyworth runs the auctionWe photograph, catalogue, list, and auction the items on OA’s behalf.
- Net proceeds support OANet auction proceeds belong to Outsiders Anonymous and fund the Community Support Program.
What We Accept
Suitable items
Furniture, tools, electronics, collectibles, clothing, jewellery, household goods, and similar items in clean, complete, resale-suitable condition. Businesses are welcome to donate overstock, office equipment, and returns — tell us ahead for larger loads.
What We Cannot Accept
Please don’t bring
Hazardous materials, broken or heavily damaged items, items missing critical components, and anything unsuitable for resale through auction. If you’re unsure, ask us before bringing it in.
Documentation
Your tax receipt
Your donation is to a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The receipt is issued by Outsiders Anonymous, references its EIN (83-2915512), and is signed by Pennyworth LLC as fiscal agent.
Issued at drop-off
You receive the OA receipt before you leave the Buda facility — no follow-up emails, no waiting period.
You set fair market value
Per IRS guidance for non-cash contributions, the donor assesses fair market value. We document items received; we do not appraise them.
IRS thresholds
Form 8283 may be required over $500, and a qualified appraisal over $5,000. Donors are responsible for compliance.
Pennyworth LLC is a Texas limited liability company and is not a 501(c)(3); it operates the program as fiscal agent for Outsiders Anonymous and does not provide tax advice. Please consult a qualified tax advisor regarding deductibility for your situation.

Who receives, who operates
The roles are kept separate, on purpose. Outsiders Anonymous is the recipient nonprofit; Pennyworth LLC handles operations as fiscal agent under a written agreement on file.
